Musings from my Potting shed
Congratulations Gary it looks really 'great',I've just harvest my first cucumber, equally proud.
Oh lucky you! I do miss having chickens! There is nothing like a fresh egg for breakfast! Val
That must be exciting all out of proportion with the size of the egg.Lucy
We have had a second one now! I think it is the Black Rock hen that has started, can't wait for the other two to get going. They are only about 18-19 weeks which is a bit early so we must be doing something right.
Gary - do you know this bloghttp://compostbins.blogspot.com/?It's a blog I really like and think you might too. But the pertinent point is that they keep chickens . . . I think it's three kinds.Lucy
Cheers Lucy, I didn't but I do now.
How exciting. How did you cook your first egg - poached, fried or scrambled?
Fantastic, I'm really pleased for you - I'd be so excited! Maybe they'll get bigger, do you think your hens will grow more?
Thank you for your comments.
