The sounds they make as they potter around is so very homely and peaceful (even if they are engaged in a massacre at the time).

LucyLucy Corranderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13743561298706555813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3664294564074355148.post-71895936411947302322009-07-12T19:37:59.374+01:002009-07-12T19:37:59.374+01:00Thanks, I am glad to hear that. I already have chicken wire around my gooseberries because the rabbits ate all of the leaves off this spring. The leaves have come back, but they never flowered. Hopefully next year!Alea Milhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15549333388945700712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3664294564074355148.post-36935150078959362042009-07-12T10:58:22.929+01:002009-07-12T10:58:22.929+01:00Hi, I think it depends on what berries you grow. I think next year I am going to either put a net or chicken wire around the gooseberries. The good bit is they clear a lot of the weed out and enricvh the soil as they go.Garyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05565371216691963227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3664294564074355148.post-34747154063807715322009-07-11T21:39:28.646+01:002009-07-11T21:39:28.646+01:00I have wanted chickens for a long time. I even have an empty coop waiting to be filled, so I must ask is there a way to prevent them from eating berries?Alea Milhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15549333388945700712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3664294564074355148.post-44397899345456151662009-07-11T14:01:33.549+01:002009-07-11T14:01:33.549+01:00Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoy...Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying your blog!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
